Our goal at ShoppersMap is simple-we hope to help our network of independent stores survive and thrive in an increasingly challenging business environment.
For over 10 years ShoppersMap printed maps have been the definitive guide to Socal's finest antique, vintage, retro and affiliated businesses. Over 250 stores have benefited from the ubiquitous distribution of these maps throughout the region and the 8 regional maps have grown yearly in terms of numbers printed and distributed and the number of participating shops.
The shoppersmap.com website has been online for several years as well-however the recent changes in the internet have resulted in this more contemporary blog.
For customers and stores alike the new possibilities of "web 2.0" bring a lot of exciting changes and opportunities. Through the site we are attempting to explain these opportunities in the FAQ's, the About Us and the Shoppers Map Network pages. We encourage everyone impacted to read through and discover the potential of the new technology we are making available-map "mashups", RSS syndication, xml tagging and more.
